My family moved to Edina from New Orleans in 1973 when my father became the dealer principal at Key Cadillac. After graduating from Edina West High School, I attended college at the University of Wisconsin –Eau Claire, where I met my wife, Janet. Using my degree in accounting, I worked for two and half years as a staff accountant for Modern Merchandising, passing the Minnesota CPA exam during that time. Experience helping dealers and their finance departments while working for Pat Ryan & Associates insurance company as a district sales manager in Ft Wayne, IN, stirred my interest to actually work in the automobile business. We then moved to Orlando where I learned the business hands on, working as a salesman, sales manager, and service advisor at Royal Oldsmobile. I returned to my family business in Edina in June 1990. Besides being a car polisher when in high school, I have worked as the finance manager, used car manager, and new car manager before becoming the Dealer Principal in February 2011. My wife and I live in Chanhassen with our English Springer Spaniel, Marley. We have two grown children. Currently, I am the President of the Minnesota Auto Dealer’s Association Board of Directors, and also sit on the Board of the Minneapolis Teamsters Health Benefit Trust. In 2021, I’ll serve as the President of the Rotary Club of Edina. In my spare time, I love to golf, pheasant hunt, water ski, do Jazzercise and grow flowers. At Key Cadillac, we are known for how we care for our guests after they purchase by providing caring service and assistance. I am very proud of our employees and their commitment and dedication to making the Key experience different.

I have been with Key Cadillac for over 30 years. We are an easy transparent place to do business. I am very proud of our well trained staff and our commitment to making Key Cadillac the very best place to purchase a new or pre-owned vehicle. I have held many different positions within the dealership and am currently the General Manager. When I am not working I enjoy my cabin in Grand Marais, snowmobiling on the north shore and spending time with my Grandchildren.

I am a University of Minnesota Duluth Grad (Go Bulldogs!), with Key Cadillac since 2015. My goal is to make the purchase experience simple and transparent, with a focus on customer service. When I’m not at work I enjoy playing all the golf courses Minnesota has to offer.

I grew up in Bloomington and have recently moved to Edina. I started working here at Key Cadillac right out of high school as a runner/detailer. I have been selling for close to two years and have enjoyed meeting new customers everyday.. In my free time I’m a part of Edina Rotaract and I like to golf.

I grew up in Eagan, Mn. I attended Winona State University where I pursued a Political Science degree. I grew to admire the auto industry through my uncle's who both work in finance for different dealerships. I started as a lot attendant, and proved my work ethic to the sales managers. A little over two years ago I accepted a sales position. I have a deep passion for the Cadillac brand and each customer experience. Recently purchased my first home, where I live now with my sidekick Stella, an Australian Shepard. In my time off I love to spin records and play golf.

Feb. 2019 will be my 29th year of sales at Key Cadillac. The one thing I’m most proficient at is facilitating the purchase or lease of a new or pre-owned vehicle. The skills I’ve learned enable me to consistently be a “Certified Top Performer” with Cadillac. Outside of work I enjoy maintaining my award winning landscaped yard with my beautiful wife Susie. Our dog Duke (don’t need an alarm clock) wakes me up for our ritual early morning walk to get the day rolling. Hobbies include daily workouts, biking, blading, golf, boating, skiing and hockey. I played hockey my freshman year at St. Louis University. After St. Louis University folded their hockey program, I walked on at the University of Minnesota and fulfilled a childhood dream playing hockey for the Golden Gophers. My senior year I was the recipient of the “Mike Crupi Most Determined Player Award”, this work ethic has carried over to my success at Key Cadillac. Still chasing the puck around on Fridays with the “Lunch Bucket” crew, as the puck hasn’t slowed down, I am. Stop by and I look forward to visiting with you.

Hi, I’m Diego Waisanen. I’m a Chaska High School graduate and attended Luther College, where I spent my time playing baseball and building the work ethic I bring into everything I do. I’ve been with Key Cadillac for just over a year, and I genuinely enjoy getting to know my customers and helping them drive away in a vehicle they’re excited about. When I’m not at the dealership, you’ll find me staying active—whether that’s in the gym, on the pond playing hockey, or traveling to cheer on my little brother at his baseball games.

Born and raised in the Twin Cities, I spent time in both Arizona for college and Dallas for work before ultimately finding my way back to the Midwest. I’ve always been a huge car enthusiast, especially when it comes to vehicles that are fast, loud, and built with purpose. I enjoy learning every detail of a vehicle — from advanced features to real-world functionality — so I can help customers find something that truly fits their lifestyle. Outside of work, I stay active year-round through fitness, competitive snowboarding, hockey, and just about any water sport during the summer months with a lot of GOLF. I pride myself on being straightforward and honest, believing that clear communication and integrity are the best way to guide people toward the right decision and ensure they feel confident and happy with their next step.
